Jiao draws inspiration from doorplates and wine bottles, reminiscent of the popular trend in China during the 1990s when discarded wine bottles were repurposed as vases. This artistic container can be wall-mounted or placed on a desktop, allowing for flexible placement options to suit individual preferences.

What sets Jiao apart is its production process. Utilizing 3D printing technology, this product can be customized with different colors and surface effects, making it ideal for artistic and personalized home styles. The use of 3D printing also ensures the highest level of precision and quality in the final product.

The dimensions of Jiao are 150mm in width, 65mm in depth, and 150mm in height, providing ample space for both flowers and aromatherapy essentials. The optional materials for production include PLAABS, allowing for a wide range of material choices to suit different preferences.

One of the challenges faced during the design process was achieving a mirror reflection surface effect. While 3D printing materials offer various color effects, a mirror effect was not readily achievable. After numerous experiments, the designers discovered that applying silver spray paint to the inside and outside of the vase could create the desired mirror effect, adding an extra touch of elegance and sophistication.

Jiao has received recognition for its innovative design. It was awarded the Bronze A' Furniture Design Award in 2022.
